Meet the Owners
Mr. Ramirez moved to Mukilteo at age 10 and has been in the restaurant business since the age of 17. His first taste of the culinary world was in May 1999 as a dishwasher at Harbor Pointe Golf Club. Within a year he became a line cook, which ignited his passion for the kitchen.
He attended Sno-Isle tech school and quickly discovered his place was in-fact in the kitchen. After graduating from Kamiak High School, he dedicated himself to cooking; working at two separate jobs as line cooks–Harbor Pointe Golf Club and the upscale Amici Bistro.
In 2004, he became Harbor Pointe Golf Club’s Sous Chef. In 2007, he became their Executive Chef.
Throughout his career Adrian has earned many awards. He was Manager of the Month 5 times. He was chosen out of 35 managers, spanning 9 properties. He also was awarded most notably fiscal manager of the year for 2014.
As one of the Red Cork Bistro’s Co-Owners, Adrian brings his wealth of knowledge and passion for the kitchen providing high quality cuisine to Mukilteo.
Adrian is also very community oriented and actively participates in local events and fundraisers when time permits.
Soco is one of the owners of the Red Cork Bistro as well as office manager at the Red Cork Bistro. For the past 12 years, she has worked at many high-end restaurants throughout Seattle. While working closely with many fantastic chefs, she learned a great deal about fine dining and how to make customers happy. She loves to watch and learn about food from her husband of 9 years, Adrian. She and Adrian are happy they have been given this opportunity to own and operate the Red Cork Bistro.
Meet Our Staff
Ray has extensive experience in the culinary field. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in 2005 and having an externship at Chef De France at Epcot Center in Orlando, FL; Ray he has spent the past 15 years honing his culinary skills throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Northwest Native learned to fuse all flavors with Classic French Cuisine and his flare shines through. He came to us from the iconic 13 Coins, where he was their Kitchen Manager where he strived to learn all aspects of running a restaurant. Prior to 13 coins, he was a Sous Chef at Bottle.
Outside the kitchen Ray is the father of 3 beautiful girls, In his free time, he loves to go camping and ride ATV’s.
Kevin began working in the hospitality industry when he moved to Washington in 2000. He has had the opportunity to bartend at many notable restaurants over the years. In 2015, he began working at Harbour Pointe Golf course, where he met Adrian and Kelsey. In his first year at the Golf Course, he earned employee of the month 3 times! In February of 2017, he joined the Red Cork Bistro & Catering Team as Bar Manager. Kevin enjoys making creative cocktails for guests and has created a menu of Handcrafted Cocktails at the bistro. Next time you are in, ask about the Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita or Lemon Berry Burst!
Vanessa works Tuesday through Friday at the bistro. She has worked at the Red Cork Bistro for several years under three business owners. She likes working at the Red Cork Bistro because it feels like a family and our guests are truly friends. While the Red Cork is known for their wine and fine food, not too many people know Vanessa makes a killer Margarita. So the next time you’re in you will have to try one.
